With clean hands, pump some Gel onto your fingers and gently massage it into the affected area, or dab on if the skin is very sore.
We recommend applying the Gel 3-4 times a day at first (although it will not do any harm if you feel you need to apply more frequently than this). When you start to see an improvement, you can reduce the frequency to 1-2 times a day. When the skin has returned to relative normalcy, you can apply every now and again to keep the skin topped up with moisture and nutrients or switch to our Cat Spray to boost and maintain skin health.

FAQs
Can I use the Cat Gel on broken skin?
Yes – our Cat Gel was specially designed to be gentle enough for super sensitive, irritated and even chapped, cracked or broken skin. It shouldn’t sting your pet – although it is important to be aware that damaged skin will already be sore, so be gentle. Please note that our Cat Gel is suitable for small sores, cuts and wounds, but please seek medical attention if your cat has a large or open wound, an infection or a large area of affected skin.
Is it safe if my cat licks the Gel?
Yes, our Gel is safe when accidentally ingested. However, we do recommend giving the Gel as much time as possible to be absorbed by the skin and start working its magic. For that reason, if your cat has the tendency to lick the area after applying the Gel, we recommend distracting them for a few minutes with cuddles, food or toys.
How long will it take before I see results?
This is really difficult to say, as every skin is different. Some of our customers will see results after one or just a few applications, for some it may take a couple of weeks. The most important thing is applying frequently and sticking with it. The skin fully renews itself every 28 days, so one would expect a change within this timeframe.
What is the difference between the Spray and the Gel?
The Spray is great at stopping the itch/scratch cycle quickly and is easy to use on larger areas or longer fur. It has 15 natural oils and extracts that hydrate and feed the skin a plethora of vitamins and minerals. This increases the skin's strength over time and helps prevent flare ups and skin irritations.
The Gel is designed to soothe sore and inflamed skin. It can be used on broken skin to aid wound healing and is perfect to use on the face and paws, as well as targeted areas on the rest of the body. The cooling gel texture calms irritated skin quickly whilst the omega-rich formula helps nourish the area back to health.
They work very well together, as the Spray sinks quickly into the skin, and once absorbed, the Gel sits nicely on top to protect the skin and promote healing.
Clean & prepare: Gently cleanse the affected area before use. Apply & absorb: Spread a thin layer of gel on the skin and massage in lightly. Repeat as needed: Use 2–3 times daily; gentle enough for broken skin and safe if your cat licks the area.

Absolutely amazing stuff my cat occasionally gets sore on his neck so put some of this gel on also snood for hos neck 2 days sore gone ,defo recommend cat gel and little goes along way very happy customer :-)

My cat had small lesions of cat dermatitis on her neck and chin. This gel has really helped in clearing it up and stopped her scratching at it. Sorry the pics don't show the dermatitis as I never took any.. But took a few pics of her when it cleared up... Highly recommended
Our elderly cat had horrible sores on her back. They were causing her much distress. I didn’t want to go to the vet as it’s so expensive and I knew they would just prescribe a steroid cream. I wanted to try something more natural. The gel is lovely and cooling and I’m sure it gave her some relief from the first application. Within a week the sores had scabbed over and the skin had started to heal. Two weeks in and she is almost completely healed. It’s a wonderful product.

Mum took a cat in that had been left behind by her previous owners. Her fur was in a terrible state and looked really sore. You could see her skin through her fur. The first 2 photo’s are before using the gel and the other 2 were taken today. It started to improve almost immediately and she doesn’t mind it being applied

Brilliant gel. The cream from the vet was not doing much to heal the cat scratch wound after 2 weeks. May be coincidental but within 48 hours of starting to use the gel there was a noticeable difference and she stopped scratching. The 2 pictures were taken 8 days apart.

The Gel works really well! My cat had a scabby sore patch under his chin. Applied a small amount of the gel 2-3 times a day for the first few days then once a day and it has gone after 2 weeks. It doesn’t smell & my cat didn’t notice that I dabbled it on.

Our young male kitten had a patch of dry skin on his back that he kept licking. I put some of the cream on it and after a few days it started to heal and he now has new fur growing back.
I have used this product before on my older cat and so when Diago started scratching and licking at his fur I knew how to treat it.
Unfortunately it has not worked for Tiffany. I don’t think it’s anything to do with the product. She doesn’t mind me rubbing it in. The texture it light and non sticky. Will wait until it heals again and will persevere.

After my daughter recommended Anicura, I gave the Cat Gel a try on my cat after he developed a wound on his back that was clearly uncomfortable, and I’m really impressed with how well it worked!
I applied it twice a day and the wound cleared up quickly and healed really nicely.
The gel was super easy to apply and didn’t seem to bother him at all. I’ll definitely use these products again, and have stocked up on the dog range too for our itchy pup!

Bought the spray for my cat Nola as she was over grooming and quite literally pulling her fur out, have been using it for almost a week and it’s already making a massive difference. Her fur is growing back and she isn’t getting anymore sore spots or scabs, will likely be buying again!
Gizzy had a terrible sore on his back (we think it was an allergic reaction to a flea treatment) After a week it seamed to be getting worse. Before we did the usual vet run we found this product on line and decided to give it a go. It arrived within a couple of days and started working instantly. Within approx a week the skin was calmer and the scabs had shrunk to virtually nothing. Excellent product - would highly recommend. (Even Gizzy didn't mind it 👍)

My male cat has allergies caused by eating whatever he finds.
He goes all scabby and looses quite abit of fur. Its happened quite a few times now.
This gel works wonders almost like a miracle gel for him.

I recommend this product. It's super good. It heals quickly and painlessly. Keep your pets' ears clean. The mites caused all these wounds on my cat, and the vet said they were environmental allergies. Always apply a good treatment so your cat doesn't get so many wounds.

My rescue cat was suffering with horrendous sores and redness due to allergies put on diet food and steroids by the vet and had put on weight .
I stopped the steroids and apply Anicura twice a day . After three weeks she scratched less and her sores have healed . I would recommend this as an alternative to steroids . She is happy and clearly comfortable and looks great .

My cat gets sunburnt really easily on the top of her head and then scratches herself. It caused small open wounds, and I know from prior experience the vet would just say put a cone on her and give it time, but looking at it one night I decided I needed to try something else. The product arrived quickly and has worked wonders so far!

I’m not sure about this product. I bought the gel and every time I apply a thin layer the area becomes very red. Can’t say it’s working unfortunately. I also bought the shampoo which I’m reluctant to try in case my dog’s skin becomes irritated. Gutted I spent over £30 on these products.
