With clean hands, pump some Gel onto your fingers and gently massage it into the affected area, or dab on if the skin is very sore.
We recommend applying the Gel 3-4 times a day at first (although it will not do any harm if you feel you need to apply more frequently than this). When you start to see an improvement, you can reduce the frequency to 1-2 times a day. When the skin has returned to relative normalcy, you can apply every now and again to keep the skin topped up with moisture and nutrients. For best results, use together with our Dog Spray.

Can I use the Dog Gel on broken skin?
Yes – our Dog Gel was specially designed to be gentle enough for super sensitive, irritated and even chapped, cracked or broken skin. It shouldn’t sting your pet – although it is important to be aware that damaged skin will already be sore, so be gentle. Please note that our Dog Gel is suitable for small sores, cuts and wounds, but please seek medical attention if your dog has a large or open wound, an infection or a large area of affected skin.
Is it safe if my dog licks the Gel?
Yes, our Gel is safe when accidentally ingested. However, we do recommend giving the Gel as much time as possible to be absorbed by the skin and start working its magic. For that reason, if your dog has the tendency to lick the area after applying the Gel, we recommend distracting them for a few minutes with cuddles, food or toys.
How long will it take before I see results?
This is really difficult to say, as every skin is different. Some of our customers will see results after one or just a few applications, for some it may take a couple of weeks. The most important thing is applying frequently and sticking with it. The skin fully renews itself every 28 days, so one would expect a change within this timeframe.
What is the difference between the Spray and the Gel?
The Spray is great at stopping the itch/scratch cycle quickly and is easy to use on larger areas or longer fur. It has 15 natural oils and extracts that hydrate and feed the skin a plethora of vitamins and minerals. This increases the skin's strength over time and helps prevent flare ups and skin irritations.
The Gel is designed to soothe sore and inflamed skin. It can be used on broken skin to aid wound healing and is perfect to use on the face and paws, as well as targeted areas on the rest of the body. The cooling gel texture calms irritated skin quickly whilst the omega-rich formula helps nourish the area back to health.
They work very well together, as the Spray sinks quickly into the skin, and once absorbed, the Gel sits nicely on top to protect the skin and promote healing.
Clean & prepare: Gently cleanse the affected area before use. Apply & absorb: Spread a thin layer of gel on the skin and massage in lightly. Repeat as needed: Use 2–3 times daily; gentle enough for broken skin and safe if your dog licks the area.

I bought this gel as my EBT suffers from skin allergies, read up online and decided to try this, glad I did! Great product for Miss Lola and definitely helping to clear up her skin. I will always have a supply of this especially in summer when her condition worsens.

I have only just started using this gel but it does seem to calm my dog Pippi who constantly licks and chews her paws
She does run away like she does with the noise of sprays and I can massage her feet to get the gel between her toes

My beautiful Westie has started to struggle with skin allergies & sensitivities as he's got older. He scratches & scratches until his skin becomes black, thick, dry & very itchy. My golden retriever has atopic dermatitis and allergies to many things.
After continual use of topical steroid sprays, he’s left with blistered and thinned skin in his groin area, which splits open causing sores. He also has red spots around his eye area.
I’ve continually used the gel, not giving up and the skin is finally healing and strengthening up again. It’s no longer splitting and I haven’t had to use the steroid spray. I massage the gel around his eyes, his forehead and under his chin, which has stopped the scratching.
I also massage in the spray all over his back, tail area and thighs a couple of times a week and his skin now feels so soft with no dry areas.
You would never know, looking at him that he has this problem.
Continual use is key and I can’t recommend them both enough.

Our golden retriever had been suffering from scabby nose on and off for 3 months. Vet suggested steroid cream, which worked initially, but scabs came back. Since applying Anicura twice a day she has been clear for the last 6 weeks.

My dog had dry scaley patches which the gel cleared up after using 3 times a day for a week, after only the first day there was a reduction in itching. It was time consuming using the gel in so many areas,but my dog loved the attention and massages! I'm now using the spray as a general all over moisturizer a couple of times a week , he dosent like the sound of the spray so I spray it on his brush and then brush through.
Louie suffers from allergies and gets sore patches on his skin and a rough texture sometimes to his coat. As long as I use the spray and gel at the first sign of a flare up I can avoid having to give him steroids. Here he is with a lovely shiny coat!
Anicura Dog Gel Ointment and Spray - A Lifesaver!
My dog was miserable with what we suspected was an allergy. We spent a fortune at the vet, resorting to steroids which I was always hesitant about. I even switched his food, but nothing seemed to help. Desperate, I saw an ad for Anicura on Facebook and, having tried other remedies with little success, wasn't expecting miracles.
To my astonishment, I noticed a difference within days! It actually seemed to be working! I'm about to place my second order. I now spray him every morning and apply the gel to any red spots I see when he relaxes on the sofa in the evenings.

Saw this gel advertised so thought I’d give it a go, I can honestly say that within 2 days there was a big improvement in the condition of her skin & much less scratching.

Absolutely love this product, we used it every day for a week, after he came out in a rash, and saw an improvement in two days. Overall it took just over a week for the rash to completely disappear. Prior to this we had tried a few things but he just kept licking at the area. He still licked the area with the anicura but it still worked like magic.
I thought I would try The Dog Gel thinking it probably wouldn't do much but was amazed at the result after only 2/3 weeks you could notice a difference my girl started loosing her fur and had patches in a few places this stuff was so good would definitely recommend to anyone.

Our Great Dane has had some really bad skin allergies. He has been on absolutely everything. From antibiotics, apoquel to steroids. Changing his food and so on. Or cat is 15 and has been over grooming for a while now. We have back and forth to the vets, 3 monthly injection, change of foods etc etc.. but we couldnt pinpoint the issue. The injections worked but only short term and he was back to over grooming. We decided to give this spray a try. A couple of months later and there has been a big improvement! We kept up to the 3 x a day spray (the cat hates this but bless him he tolerated it the best he could) and within 4 weeks we could see a difference. A few more months on and we are down to 1 spray a day, which we will hopefully be able to reduce to every other day or just a few times a week. This spray has been a lifesaver as we were at our wits end on how to help.
I’ve been using the dog gel for a week now and the difference in my dogs ear is improving by the day, she had small tiny spots due to an allergy and her ears were really sore. I use a cotton pad and just use it sparsely. She also has dry sore spots on her body which seem to be improving . Time will tell.
Been using the gel and spray for about a month now on Heidi's allergic dermatitis. Daisy being a ginger Ninga Boxer is allergic to everything just coming up to 5. She’s had to have cruciate surgery and is a lovely girl. She is undergoing a course of anti allergy treatment which will probably go on long term. She got hives from playing with ivy before any treatment and Anicura shampoo was a great help.
