Our Dog Shampoo has been created to provide a natural alternative to the harsh and chemical shampoos that are on the market. The naturally active ingredients have been carefully selected for their bio-scientifically proven ability to soothe itchy skin, rebalance problem skin and support the maintenance of healthy skin. Allow to sit for a few minutes then rinse off with lukewarm water.
Remember our shampoo is low-foaming because it uses gentle, natural foaming agents. This does not mean you have to use more product, the product is still equally effective.
We do not recommend bathing your pet too often, as it would disturb the delicate balance of natural oils that can be found on the skin.

Why should I use a special pet shampoo?
Did you know that your pet’s skin is actually more sensitive than your own? That’s because their skin is usually shielded from the elements by their fur. Therefore, products that may seem really innocent to us, such as baby shampoo, can really irritate your pet’s skin.
Our Anicura Dog Shampoo is free from SLS/SLES, synthetic perfume and other synthetics commonly known to irritate sensitive skin. Instead, it is filled with soothing and nourishing natural actives such as Aloe Vera and Lavender Oil!
Can I use the Shampoo as a treatment for itchy or problem skin?
Although our Shampoo is full of calming and nourishing ingredients, we don’t recommend relying solely on a shampoo to combat dry or itchy skin. That’s because you would always need to give your pet a bath in order to treat them, and bathing too frequently can actually disturb the natural balance of the skin. Whilst our Shampoo was developed to soothe itchy skin and boost skin health, we recommend relying more on our Dog Spray and Dog Gel as treatment products - they can actually be applied as often as needed!
How often should I bathe my pet?
We generally recommend bathing your dog once or twice a month. If you feel the need to bathe your dog more often, for instance because they are having a flare-up, have been swimming, have walked through mud or rolled in fox poo, make sure to use a pet-appropriate shampoo that is gentle on their sensitive skin. We do not recommend bathing more than once a week.
Does the Shampoo have a strong smell?
As you may know, our products are free from synthetic fragrance as it can upset sensitive skin. That doesn't mean our products are unscented though - our Shampoo has a beautifully delicate scent due to the presence of natural and skin-boosting plant extracts such as Lavender Oil, Chamomile Extract and Geranium Oil.
Massage Into Wet Coat: Apply to a wet coat and gently work the shampoo through the fur. Leave, Then Rinse: Allow to sit for a few minutes before rinsing thoroughly with lukewarm water. Repeat as needed: We do not recommend bathing your pet too often, as it would disturb the delicate balance of natural oils on the skin.

Buddy was suffering from seasonal allergies in the summer and after searching for natural products discovered Anicura.
The shampoo smells lovely and is gentle enough to use daily on feet, gets them super clean. I use the spray for grooming and the gel for paw pads.

I am really glad I gave it a go! I won’t be listing here why as that’s a lot of reasons but I will say ~ my dog finally likes showers (or at least doesn’t mind them).

My Tibetan Terrier dog had sores and scabs, dandruff caused by Yeast infections. This shampoo is the best I have used. With previous shampoos after a bath he would scratch and break his coat . I would find clumps of hair around the house. After a bath now , we have no scratching and his coat has a shine back. Plus loads of new hair growth.
all 3 of my girls love the shampoo two have dermatitis which it is amazing for and the other had dry skin but not now she has been bathed in this shampoo
My Tibetan Terrier Dog has been suffering most of the year with dandruff , hot spots etc. This is the first shampoo that has tackled the dandruff and his skin is a lot more healthy.
Have used the shampoo once, still scratches but not as much. Will wash him again this week. Also I am changing my dog to Raw food from kibble and packet meat. So that will also help him.
My 12 year old Toy Poodle has dry/red skin - I use this shampoo to help with this problem. The shampoo is so very mild and kind to his skin and is reducing the problem. I also use the Anicura dog spray where his skin is red- this alleviates itching and calms down the redness. Cannot rate Anicura more highly and would recommend owners of dogs or cats to try the Anicura range of products
Excellent shampoo. My little Molly had very dry flaky skin and one application of this shampoo cleared it all away. I now send to groomer to use and would not use any other product now. Molly’s coat looks amazingly shiny & health and no more flaky dry itchy skin.

My dog has been having problems with his skin. We wanted a product that will stop him from scratching and getting his hair back this product that we use it now seems to do the job very happy so far as you can see in the photo is gone quite hairy

When we first adopted our westie cross puppy 'Teddy' he was 11 months old and had dry skin patches on his back with black scabs which were itchy, the skin also looked very pigmented. He was very itchy, itching his chin, his ears, attempting to itch his back, licking his paws alot. We bought this shampoo after extensive research and changed his food to grain free wetfood and dry from the supermarket. We take this shampoo to his groomers and ask them to use it. Teddy's skin is perfect now, been using for 6 months, bathing him once a week. Highly recommend. We bought the gel also but have had no need to use it.
Coca skin was flaky and sore , I tried lots of different expensive shampoos and nothing improved :( I bought the shampoo and conditioner and was amazed with results. My boys cost is soo shiny his skin has healed and he’s much happier . Everyone comments on his glossy coat , I can’t recommend anicura enough .

Used the shampoo on my Tibetan terrier as she had itchy flaky skin it smells lovely and her itchy skin has reduced even after only using it once and has a nice shiny coat, wish I’d used it earlier

My Dog doesn't scratch or bite herself anymore after using this dog shampoo. The shampoo makes her coat soft and easily able to rince out the soap. Unlike other brands I've used in the past.

Our GSD has always been an itchy boy there are many things that set him off, food, change in seasons and bath time! We have tried so many products that claim to be great for itchy dogs but not for our boy unfortunately. We bathed him at the weekend and it is now mid week and not an itch to be had!!!!! He looks incredible, so fluffy and no dry flaky skin anywhere and he smells amazing. Highly recommend this shampoo its fantastic!

Absolutely love this doggo shampoo, it's smells so good and is caring for my pooches skin and coat. It has lovely natural ingredients which is kind and gentle for the skin. I love that it has the natural ingredients....no artificial elements. It lasts a long time too.

Pet has problems with sensitive skin, but had lots flakey dry skin even though her fur is oily. This product smells lovely, did the job with no irritation, cleaned pets coat leaving it glossy, clean and fresh smelling. Pet enjoyed her bath too, as she laid down in the paddling pool as i was applying it to her coat, which she never does normally. Very pleased with the product.
We have a senior dog who has suffered with skin irritation when he was younger, for the past couple months he unfortunately got it back with series breaks in his skin, as well as major hair loss, he is allergic to a lot of shampoos and we have to be mindful of what can be used. we have only been using this product for the past couple of weeks and it honestly is amazing, his skin is not angry anymore and he now showing off his new thick hair. I highly recommend this product it honestly is amazing.
