Our gentle Anicura Horse Gel is designed to soothe and restore dry, irritated, inflamed skin, scabs, cuts and grazes. It is gentle and suitable to use on mud fever, rain scald, seborrhoea (dandruff), hot spots and sweet itch.
The cooling texture of the Gel instantly calms the skin, discouraging your horse from biting, scratching or rubbing the area – giving it time to heal. Meanwhile, the key powerhouse ingredients in the Gel reduce inflammation and help nourish the skin back to health.
For best results, use together with our Horse Spray and Horse Shampoo.

Clean & prepare: Gently cleanse the affected area before use.
Apply & absorb: Spread a thin layer of gel on the skin and massage in lightly.
Repeat as needed: Use 2–3 times daily; gentle enough for broken skin and safe if your horse licks the area.

My grey Connie has had a small spot/swelling on his side (not in the saddle area but irritating), it’s been there for a couple of years. Weeps a bit and he’s sensitive to it. Applied all sorts to it, equestrian and human! Had a steroid injection from the vet last year as the swelling was worse. It helped a bit but as he’s EMS is not a good option. I’ve applied your gel with a cotton bud directly to the centre of the spot about 3 times a day and there’s definitely an improvement.

This is 5 weeks apart and on average only applied once a day vet said it was a fungal infection and saw what I was putting on it and she said that was excellent and to carry on I am so pleased with the result

By day 2 I noticed a massive improvement. Now I apply it most days, she has stopped itching. I would highly recommend this gel for your itchy horse

My horse loves the gel she closes her eyes when I rub it on her tummy. She doesn't do this when I have put other creams on her. She has sweet itch. Please can you make a bigger bottle of gel Sarah

Was bit unsure as new products to me but very impressed with the horse spray and gel. Easy to apply good coverage . Within couple of days could see improvement in areas rubbed sore. The shampoo is also lovely, lathers up lovely .

I use this on my horse to ease fly bites especially around his tail. He rubs it and this eases any discomfort and his tail is growing back

Have been using this on my old pony who suffers badly with sweet itch. We have tried every lotion and potion and this has actually made a difference. His hair is definitely growing back in. Just wish this came in a bigger size as small one doesn’t last long.

The gel was great for calming areas of skin that were inflamed due to insect bites and associated rubbing under a fly mask. Only used it for a few days then had to wash off the sticky residue build up to allow the skin to breathe. Definitely helped!

Freddy, my little Shetland pony has Cushings and does not shed his coat normally. In the recent heatwave he developed sore scabby patches on his skin where he had shed his winter coat before his summer coat was coming through. This gel cleared up the scabby patches very quickly after just one application. I was very impressed.

I use this on a pony that has sweet itch and rubs his skin constantly. He rubs around his face and I find other SI remedies cause more irritation but this gel seems to calm the area and helps healing.

Excellent stuff works a treat for sweet itch on tail
Great stuff sorted out a little bit of mud fever on my young horse.
I used this gel on areas of skin where my horses had been biting each other. It appeared to soothe the area and help with hair regrowth. I’ve just ordered some shampoo to try.
